Admission:
You will be able to provide evidence of your English language skills if you have:
- completed an English language test such as IELTS, Pearson, or Cambridge
- completed some types of university (tertiary) or high school (secondary) studies
- completed an approved English subject in IB Diploma, Australian Year 12 or other high school qualifications
- lived and worked in an English-speaking country for at least five years.
Each Deakin University degree and study area has specific academic entry requirements, based on your previous secondary school or university results.
If your place of study or academic achievements aren’t mentioned here, don’t worry. Deakin can still assess your application. Our admissions team will take your academic record and other accomplishments, including work experience, into consideration as they assess your application.
Deakin International Scholarship
Value and duration
- 25% of your total tuition fees (stated on your offer letter).
- This scholarship is available for the normal duration of your course.
Am I eligible?
- be a new international student enrolling in a Deakin coursework degree
- meet the entry requirements for your course, including English language requirements
- have achieved at least a 65% average (or equivalent) in previous studies.
